The “Hans im Glück” is a great burger-restaurant in Flensburg, Germany. Due to the proximity to the border Flensburg is the most Danish city of Germany. At Hans im Glück, named after the story of “Hans in Luck”, you either have a seat in the patio located in Flensburg’s main square or inside the restaurant depending on the weather and your liking.
Above you see ‘The Geissbock’ (Billy Goat) a delicious burger with beef, goat cheese, and fig sauce together with some fries I have put on my plate as well as an ensemble of yummy sauces, such as ketchup, mango sauce, sour cream, avocado. As for the drinks we had elderberry and raspberry juices with mint leaves.
The ambience of the Hans im Glück is very stylish and features chopped trees standing next to your table, giving you an impression of sitting in a forest. The staff is very friendly and willing to help and the restaurant is open from 11-02 (11 am – 02 am).

The Bottom Line: The “Hans im Glück”, located in the Nordermarkt 1, 24937 Flensburg, is a very stylish burger restaurant and part of a chain Germany wide. This place gives you this event-feel while staying there, since it features chopped trees standing besides the table, giving you the impression of sitting in a forest.
