The Café Zsivágó is a great vintage café. It is elegant and stylish, located in a townhouse of the Austrian Hungarian Empire. So together with a high ceiling you have this special flair of the old days wherefore here at this coffee shop the artsy people of Budapest gather for good talks. It has two levels connected by stairs and even one niche upstairs. Here at Café Zsivágó you get a chocolate cake and delicious coffee which I had with my cappuccino as well as other drinks. It is worth to mention that this coffee shop is more something to hang out than a place to eat.
As for the seating the Zsivágó provides comfortable vintage chairs and sofas as well as wooden chairs. The latter are not so comfy to sit for a longer stretch of time.
The music played in the background ranges from Funk and Lounge to Jazz. You get much ambience and style for your money here at the Zsivágó. But see it for yourself:

The Bottom Line: The Café Zsivágó, located in the Paulay Ede utca 55, in 1061 Budapest, in the fancy neighborhood of the Liszt Ferenc tér between Budapest’s Opera House and the famous Oktogon square, is the perfect place to spend some time in a vintage café ambience. The nice and relaxing atmosphere of this vintage café is the perfect environment for good talks.
